Service Policy
What you can expect from the Excel in Exam service, and what we ask of you in return.
Last updated 20 August 2026
1. Scope of the service
Excel in Exam provides generated practice worksheets, board-style papers, mark schemes and figures for supported syllabuses, together with a personal library for storing and re-downloading them.
Supported syllabuses are listed on the Subjects page. Syllabuses marked as in preparation are not yet available for generation.
2. Quality standard
Every question is produced from a solved mathematical model and must pass automated validation gates before it is rendered. Configurations that fail validation are rejected rather than shown.
Marks and mark-scheme codes follow published board conventions. Materials remain a practice resource and should be reviewed before use in formal assessment.
3. Availability
We target 99.5% monthly availability for the platform, excluding announced maintenance windows.
Generation depends on the validation engine. If the engine is temporarily unavailable, the interface will say so clearly rather than returning unverified material.
4. Generation quotas
Each plan carries a monthly generation quota shown in the interface. Reaching the quota stops new generation until the period resets or the plan is upgraded; previously generated material stays available in your library.
Quotas exist to keep generation capacity fair across all users and are not a limit on downloads of work you have already generated.
5. Your content and data
We store the account details you provide, your library metadata, and records of the generation requests you make. We do not sell personal data.
Generated files are stored securely and accessed through short-lived signed links that expire after a few minutes. Links are generated on request and are not stored.
6. Support
Support is available by email at support@excelinexam.com. We acknowledge enquiries within one working day and aim to resolve generation faults within two.
Faults affecting many users are prioritised and progress is communicated on the platform.
7. Acceptable use
The service is for teaching, tutoring and study. Bulk extraction, resale of generated material, and automated access outside the provided interfaces are not permitted.
Accounts used in breach of this policy may be rate-limited or suspended, with notice where reasonably possible.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy is reviewed as the platform develops. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
